Made Simple is operated by AQC Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover bymadesimple.com. Each study area's own site may have its own terms for buying and using a guide.
Using the site
You may use this site to learn about licensing exams and our study guides. Please don't:
- copy, scrape or republish the site or large parts of it;
- try to break, overload or get around the site's security;
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to mislead other people.
We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.
Free resources are for personal study
Our free practice tests, glossaries, guides and cheat sheets are for your own personal study. You may print a copy for yourself. You may not sell them, share them as part of a paid product, or post them on another site. If you teach and want to use them with a class, email us first and ask.
Study aids, not guarantees
Made Simple guides are independent study aids. No guide can guarantee a passing score.
We work hard to keep every page accurate and current. But exams, outlines, passing scores and state rules change, and they differ from state to state. Before you register or sit an exam, check your candidate bulletin and your state board. If our pages and an official source disagree, the official source is right.
No affiliation
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any state licensing board or commission, testing vendor (including PSI, Pearson VUE, Prometric and NIC) or professional body. Names and trademarks of those organizations belong to their owners. We use them only to tell you which exam a page is about.
Not legal, financial or insurance advice
Our pages explain what licensing exams cover. They are not legal, financial or insurance advice, and they are not advice about buying, selling or financing property or buying insurance. For advice about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional.

Buying a guide
We don't sell anything directly on bymadesimple.com. When you buy a guide, you buy it on that study area's own site, through its checkout. That purchase is covered by that brand's terms and the refund terms shown at checkout. Our refund policy explains the basics.
Links to other sites are there to help you. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.
Limits of liability
We provide this site and its free resources "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, AQC Technologies LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using the site, including exam results, missed work, or lost income. If we are found liable to you for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the product involved, or $50 if you paid nothing.
Some places don't allow some of these limits. If so, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
